Then the Price Changes Once

Buy their agent service by itself and year one is $99 plus whatever the state charges at filing. Year two is $199. So is year three, and every year after.

Ours has no second act. Ninety-nine dollars at signup, the same ninety-nine at every renewal, and the pricing conversation is over. Across five years the gap adds up to $400, which is real money for a line item that is legally identical on both sides.

Oklahoma Does Not Round to the Nearest Month

Most states give you a month to hit. Oklahoma gives you a day.

The Annual Certificate falls due each year on the exact calendar date your Articles of Organization went in. Filed March 3, due March 3, with the window opening sixty days ahead of that. The fee is $25. Miss the date by sixty days and the LLC stops being in good standing under 18 O.S. § 2055.2. Keep missing it and Oklahoma eventually cancels the company outright.

Two things follow from that. A specific calendar date is precisely the kind of detail people misremember, especially two or three years after formation when nobody has looked at the certificate of organization in a while. And $25 is the same amount Oklahoma charges to change your registered agent, which turns out to be a useful ruler. Two twenty-five dollar filings run your compliance year here. ZenBusiness's renewal is close to eight of them.

Before that reads as us claiming the bottom of the market: nobody should treat $99 as the floor. BetterLegal posts $90, which is nine dollars less than we ask.

Trading ZenBusiness for Us Costs $25 in Oklahoma

One form does it. Form 0075 goes to the Oklahoma Secretary of State with $25, either by mail or through the state's online entity change system, and your Annual Certificate cannot substitute for it because Oklahoma asks for no agent information on that filing at all. The one thing to get right is the order: line the new agent up before the old appointment goes away, so there is never a day when your record shows nobody who can take a summons.
