Quarterly Billing Is Not a Trick

Two points in their favor before the objection. Four smaller payments are easier on a new company's cash flow than one large one, and some owners genuinely prefer the rhythm. And Swyft prints the period next to the price instead of hiding it. Nobody is being deceived here. They are just being invited to compare two numbers that describe different lengths of time.

It Is Still Four of Them

$149 covers a quarter. Four quarters is a year. Annualized, Swyft's registered agent service runs about $596, and our July 2026 review found no discounted first year cutting into it.

Set that next to $99 charged once and the ratio does the talking. One year of theirs is roughly six years of ours. The service being purchased is identical in the eyes of Oklahoma law, which cares about the address and the hours and nothing about the billing cadence.

What Oklahoma Charges for the Whole Year

The state's own price list makes a useful reality check, because Oklahoma is genuinely inexpensive to operate in.

Filing Articles of Organization to create an LLC here costs $100. The Annual Certificate that keeps it in good standing costs $25. Changing your registered agent costs $25. That is the whole recurring picture, and the numbers are printed on the state's forms rather than quoted on request.

So a first year with Swyft, at roughly $596, is nearly five times what Oklahoma charges to form the company and file its first Annual Certificate combined. The state built the company for $100. The agent line is running six times that.

Ending the Quarterly Cycle: Oklahoma's Change Filing

1. Line up the replacement first. Swyft holds the appointment until the state signs off on the new one, so naming your incoming agent before you cancel anything gives you an overlap. Do it backwards and there is a stretch where a summons has nowhere legitimate to land.
2. Fill in Form 0075. The state's change form covers agent, registered office, and principal office in a single document, so a relocation and an agent swap are still one filing.
3. Send it with $25. Paper to the Oklahoma Secretary of State, or key it into the state's online filing system. The fee does not change with the channel.

Mid-quarter timing makes no difference to the $25, so there is nothing to gain by waiting for the next invoice.
