The Renewal Is the Part Nobody Prints

Our July 2026 pass went through the homepage, the packages page, and the FAQ. Three places a renewal rate would normally live, and it was in none of them. So we are not going to guess at the figure or describe it. We are going to note that it is missing and let you weigh that yourself.

Here is why it is worth weighing. Oklahoma requires an agent on your record every year the LLC exists, not just the first, so the free twelve months are the opening chapter of a subscription whose price you will learn after you have already committed. The objection is about sequence, not size. A perfectly reasonable renewal rate that only appears at checkout is still a rate you could not compare.

Oklahoma Tells You Before It Costs You

Which is a strange thing to have to say about a state agency outperforming a company on disclosure, but here we are.

At least sixty days ahead of your anniversary date, the Oklahoma Secretary of State emails an Annual Certificate notice to whatever address the LLC last gave it. Not a bill, a heads-up, sent in advance and unprompted. The fee it is warning you about, $25, is printed on the form itself. So is the $25 for changing your registered agent. Every number Oklahoma will charge you is legible before you owe it.

Now the honest limits of that, because we sell reminders too and should not oversell them. The email goes to one address, whichever one the state has on file. A founder who left, a domain that lapsed, a spam rule that swallowed a message from a government sender, and the notice is technically delivered and practically gone. Sixty days past the anniversary the LLC drops out of good standing regardless, and a company that keeps not filing gets cancelled. Also worth saying plainly: nothing about a lawsuit arrives sixty days early. A process server turns up at your address during business hours with no warning at all, and that part of the job is not something any email schedule covers.

Twenty-five dollars and Form 0075 move the appointment, and the Secretary of State takes that filing on paper and online alike. Your outgoing agent has no ability to block or delay it. One rule about ordering: appoint your incoming agent before the old one comes off, because the state expects a live agent on the record continuously and there is no reason to hand yourself a gap.
