Not a resident manager, not a member acting personally, the company. That sits alongside the ordinary choices, an Oklahoma resident or a business entity qualified here, and it costs nothing at all.

So why does anyone pay? Because of what comes attached:

• A street address, and only a street address. PO boxes are refused.
• A business office at that same address, open through regular business hours so somebody can be handed a lawsuit.
• Publication. Whatever address you name goes into a database anyone can search, forever.

Appointing your own LLC means your LLC's address is the address getting served. For a company with a storefront and a front desk, that is a genuinely free and perfectly sensible answer.
